Just started my 289 FIA build and would like to connect with other owners in the area. My wife and I moved to Louisville about 2 years ago and it'd be great to make a few new friends.

I've got FFR#6682. Got it back in 2008 and been building on it ever since. Got it on the road three years ago and have been Auto Crossing it with the KYSCCA. Here in the next couple years I will get the interior finished and get it painted. At least that is the plan.

I'd really like to get involved in the KYSCCA when i have my completed. Did you have any trouble with registering the car in KY? I think i'll need a sheriff's inspection, but i can't seem to get an answer as to what they inspect. Wipers, horn, lights, etc.

Registering was a bit of a challange. It seemed that one department would know what they were doing and then the next department had no idea.

Yes you will need a Sheriff inspection. He checked the basics. Brake lights, turn signals, horn. I had my wipers installed, but he didn't test them.

Was it registered as a 1965 or year assembled?

It was registered as, "ASMB" which I think stands for assembled and the year I got it (2008).
