Hey guys,

Sorry for the delay but here are a couple videos from Wed/Thurs prior to the FFR Open House. Craig and I ended up joining Group 52 at Watkins Glen for 2 days of open track time with some seriously experienced folks. Many Porsche Cup cars and several NASCAR trucks made us feel pretty slow out there. My best on long course was 2:16 and these guys are able to break 1 mins!

We ran the short course which was pretty exciting as it was my first time running that configuration. That was a slightly better matchup vs the cup cars but still nowhere close. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQN3_578Q1g&feature=related

Craig's coupe wasn't ready so he had to run the roadster with street tires. Car did just fine and I hung behind to capture some video before setting my best time of the event. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_j73gt1X1Q I let him drive my coupe for the next run and as bad luck would have it he snapped the d/s half shaft. No damage done...just done for the day.

My new half shafts are already in and we are off to Limerock this Friday July 1st for an unmuffled event. Please come on and check it out. Craig will be back on track in his coupe with the new 9" rear and Roush Anvil under the hood. The Dyson and JDX teams will be testing in between our sessions so that will be pretty exiciting to see the astounding lap time differentials...see schedule here. http://media.legitify.com/scda/documents/jdx.pdf

Thanks for the update Dan...Nice videos....The Glen is such an awesome place!!!!

As an aside...We've been experiencing issues with the IRS under track/race conditions, including half shafts breaking, and of course, the issue with the ever-backing off spindles/knuckles....IMHO, everyone that tracks these cars should check all of the IRS components/connections/bearings after each session....It may sound like overkill, but our cars tend to have a ton of torque, and the "stock" T-Bird stuff is bearing a lot of stress back there.....

Hoping to be out on track with you later this year!
