Being I can't register/insure my MK4 as a car until I build it and obtain a VIN from the MA State Police, what are other options for coverage? Homeowners, etc.?

I would think your homeowners insurance would cover it if it's in your garage. I called mine and they said as long as it's in my property it was covered. I didn't have to raise my insurance either but that's with USAA.
