Roll Bar hole sizes in body

I have a MkIV Roadster with the holes undrilled for the roll bar, as I am going with a full width 2" diameter bar. The hole locations are marked on the body, but what is the appropriate size to drill/hole saw them? I assume slightly over, but like 2-1/4"? I need to pull my bar a bit to get it to fit over the chassis mounts (with the adapters for the larger bar).
