I am trying to figure what speedometer i have - i am trying to upload a pic but may not be able to.

I has factory five on the face, it has a reverse face plate, it has a 2 line didgital screen on the bottom, it is electronic, no cable but by now that is probably obvious.

The speedo runs up to 50 to 60 at 15-25 mph and by the time you are going 40 it is pegged at 180

I have no manual yet, i assume the calibration is in the manual. Does the spedo manufacturer have that info on line. I am out of town and dont think i can order a digital manual before i get back.

No picture or attachment. But from your description does sound like Speedhut. Do the gauges look like these?

If so, there is a calibration procedure. Page 2 in these instructions. http://www.speedhut.com/instructions/4_and_338_inch_speedhut_instructions.pdf

Ed,

What was your source for your Lucas toggle switches?

Thanks,

John

I get genuine Lucas switches from Auto Electric Supplies Limited in England. There are other sources, but I've found this one to be good. They are genuine Lucas parts in the green/white box and the parts have Lucas stamped on them. I've found the quality to be better than the knock-offs that are commonly sold at many places. In the case of Lucas, that's maybe not saying a lot. But I've definitely found them better. Auto Electric Supplies clearly indicates which of their products are genuine Lucas and those that aren't.

In this picture, the horn button on the left and the three toggles on the right are all Lucas. The toggles have a polished SS washer backing. I like the look plus works better with the dash covering.
