You probably wouldn't want to - the 7.5" rear end from the V6 mustangs aren't as strong as the 8.8". It'd work for a while, but you wouldn't want to put any real power through it. Also the 94 and up rear axles are wider than the foxbody rears by 1.5" if memory serves, so that might affect your wheel fitment.

It'll work, coupe can use wider wheels than the roadster so you can still get a huge tire in there, just not as strong as an 8.8 but still will handle decent power,'probably up to 350 hp.... Steven

Willy,

I have to agree with Dave(Cheap), the 8.8 is the rear end of choice, why limit yourself right out of the box with a rear end that will not handle what you need it to. One or two good clutch drops with a healthy 302/351, and you'll be looking for a 8.8 anyway.

Hi Willy,
I have a few brand new old stock 8.8"rearends in stock with 3.73 gears & Trac Lock for $950.00. You could use the calipers & rotors or I sell it complete with axles & brake for just $1610.00 complete.

Was thinking of removeing these brackets and weights, but just wanted to check before cuting, cannot see any thing wrong with getting rid of this stuff before cleaning and powder coat30263027

I beleive the build manual states you need the brackets.....if you don't have one ping factory five and they can send you an electronic copy before your kit arrives. The weight can go.

If that T5 is from a V6 it will not live long behind a V8. The good news is it will serve as a fuse and break before you can put enough power to the 7.5 rear axle to hurt it!

Quad shocks are used with the coupe. Don't toss them.

OK will not do any cutting for now, just thought I did no need them with the coil over supention from FF the pic I saw only showed lower and upper control arms and the rear coil overs ( I ordered my kit with the control arms and coil overs for the OEM 4 link from FF ). and It is a 8.8 with 3.27 and posi lock . Thanks
