Brake Pedal Mod

Hi,

My first post since receiving my kit last week!

I have a pedal box from a 2001 Mustang GT(at least that's what the salvage lot told me). The instructions say to remove 1.5" between the pivot tube and the push rod connector. My pedal only has about 2 3/4" center to center between them right now. What is the space between the pivot tube and push rod connector supposed to be after the mod is done? The "after" picture looks very similar to my "before". Check out the attached picture.

My pedals measure 2.25 after the modification. You may be able to use yours as is for manual brakes. Or I can attempt to modify yours.
