I just met mr don with Stewart and got my hot rod! Nice guy he is.

Where do they stamp their chassis number at on the chassis? I wanna know if I got number 1000!

Edit.

Number 1002 is here!

My view when I met the driver. My house down a one lane street which would be a pain for him so I met him at a local empty lot.

Getting ready to start unloading. First delivery on this run.

All loaded up and ready for the drive home and unload. And start counting bolts! Lol

Fun fun fun! Now open every baggie and count every bolt.. you probably won't have much missing (other than POL), but might as well get them sent!

Oh I will! I have a pretty long POL list. A full page and 4 ines in second. Including all the front control arms. Which is step one!

I actually have too many parts. They sent me someone else's wheels I think. I didn't order any but he had 4 wheels labeled for me. They look like 818 wheels. He didn't seem to interested in dealing with them so I took them. I'll call FFR Monday and let them know. Maybe hold them ransom for my control arms. Hahah!

I think I was lucky; I had only 3 nuts/bolts missing and my POL was 3 items I think- wiring, traction lok brackets and rivnut tool. I got everything quickly too, within 2-3 weeks. Not having the front sucks that's a fun part and you get your first frustrations (spreader bar, welds in the way, needs more spacers, getting hubs on etc) so it gets you in right frame of mind. You're already there though having done a roadster!

I was waiting to see who got #1000! If it was me I would have ended up with #999. Always one short....,
Congratulations!!

Actually done two roadsters, road racer. So yes I'm quite familiar with that. Worst was a completely home built (I made chassis and radius rids and all) 23 t bucket. I even Frankenstein'd my own front disk brakes lol. Talk about fristrating!

Erl, #999 would be awesome too!
