View Full Version : Russ Thompson Turn Signal and FFR upgraded dash
Has anyone tried using the Russ Thompson Turn Signal with the FFR upgraded dash with glovebox?
Curious on any ideas of how to enlarge the steering shaft opening given the plastic material/attached vinyl/molded lip.

Haven't done it, but if you open up the hole simply get a bezel from Mike Everson(replicaparts.com) and you will be all set.

I did it on mine. The dash is easy to cut just don't cut too much. Got the Russ Thompson turn signal bezel from Mike Everson to cover the hole. Just barely. Make sure the column is even top to bottom. Used metal clips to screw into on the back. Not too difficult. Good luck.

What did you use to cut it? I was thinking a dremel, but wasn't sure if the rotary action would damage the vinyl.

Did the same thing. Plastic cuts easily

My solder iron has a cutting tip. Worked very well
