Registering Roadster w/ State

Has anyone run into issues upon completing their roadster with getting it registered? Are real bumpers not required? Emissions required on these cars?

Indeed. In Texas, it even matters which County you're in. So until you tell us more about where you're asking about, we can't be of much help.
