I have two Wilwood remote reservoir aluminum master cylinders that are leaking, apparently due to porosity. They're leaking at the front and I can see the rough appearance where the fluid is forming. Short of removing and replacing them with Tilton, units, is there any fix?

I guess if they were the last two Tilton-style master cylinders on the planet, I would disassemble them, clean the living daylights out of them, add some filler metal at the leak with an aluminum spool gun or tig, and hope for the best. That not being the case, I would replace them.
When you contacted Wilwood about the problem, what did they say?

While I do have their pedal assembly, ebrake, and one of my masters is Wilwood, I have found their quality to be all around poor. They are popular because they are cheap, and you get what you pay for.

Their plastic remote reservoirs are garbage also. Will leak where the big clamp is and I was unable to stop the seepage after several tries. Went with CNC aluminum ones.
