fiberglass hood scoop?

looking for fiberglass scoop, really disappointed when the "plastic one" showed up from FFR. I realize ********** has fiberglass, hoping for the ffr one..

Haven't ever seen a Finish Line scoop in person. The FFR 'glass one is rough to say the least (not symmetrical, flange has to be trimmed and the underside is raw fiberglass mat). Curious what you don't like about the plastic one? After having done a number of both I'd rather work with the ABS one hands down.

So....no issues with paint? Do I need to put flex agent in paint? It just seems light weight. I'm going to drive mine, the only trailer shes every "seen" is when I brought her home! thanks for your advise.

Once it's bolted to the hood it becomes quite rigid (I wouldn't stand on it but wouldn't stand on the fiberglass one either!).
