How long is the drive shaft for a MK4/3 link/4.6 or Coyote/Tremec 3550 combination? Where are the measurements taken?

This diagram shows where you would measeure the driveshaft and lists the common lengths we use in our cars. We have not built a Coyote powered Mk4 here yet, so we do not know the exact size for the driveshaft with that motor. The diagram should show you how to measure it.

The coyote engine is the same as the 4.6 from the motor mounts back to the bellhousing surface. It looks like you sent me a 302 length so I'll have to swap it.

I am using the Coyote motor along with the Tremec TKO-600 (M-7003-R58H) transmission. F5 has specified the 31 spline 10.625" driveshaft for my roadster kit. Is this the correct driveshaft?

It sounds like the kit was spec'd out for the TKO 600 transmission, but we have not run a Coyote in a Mk4 yet and it is not an engine currently supported by FFR. You may have to modify the driveshaft length.
