The thread Lawrence started about the daily drivers was fun to see. How about posting your dream car? Obviously Cobras would be high up on most everyones list. Other than a Cobra what is your dream ride if cost is not a factor.

For me it is always one of the top end 911s. Always the latest and greatest model. I absolutely love this GT3! If I win the lottery one of these will be parked next to the Cobra!

Haha easy. GT40 replica!! I really hope I can have another - that's the car I regret selling! I'd be on a different forum building one of those if I had a little more $$$$ :) not that the 33 won't be a lot of fun ;)

1989 240sx notchback in green two-tone with an ls3. That what was the first car I ever wrenched on and I always wanted to engine swap it. I would also like to build a restomod 64 1/2 mustang with a coyote. My dream cars are pretty attainable. :)

x2 - I've always been a huge fan of the wide body 911 cars -- pretty much any year.

^^^ I had a boss who owned the gt2 and a gt3... I got to drive both of them.... Excellent cars... among my top 3...

There is a shop here in Charlotte called underground racing... They do a twin turbo Lamborghini Aventador... I think that car in white or black.... 1300hp

BMW X5m

I drove the x5m at the bmw performance driving school in SC, which if you have the chance it is awesome... I went for a job function.... the x6m is so much smoother and more powerful... the X6m and the m2 were by far the best cars out there... the m6 is 3rd... The x4 is a piece of ****.... But when the turbos dump on that x6 it is ****ing loud!!

If you havent gone to the school it is a blast... If you are into the computer world, find a vendor who takes people they are trying to whoa.... I went with a vendor... totally worth there 2 hour sales pitch, for my 3 hours of trying to break some cars!

Dream Cars?....This is my Roaring Forties GT40. Since I bought the kit I have aged 12 years and had a recent hip replacement. Now I dream about how to get in and out of it without making everyone laugh.http://i1160.photobucket.com/albums/q498/NeilHussey/GT40pics017_zps07fb034b.jpg (http://s1160.photobucket.com/user/NeilHussey/media/GT40pics017_zps07fb034b.jpg.html)

This is a really hard question to answer. For a DD, if I have to commute to work daily in traffic, I want something comfortable but fun. The Aston Martin DB11 would suit well I think, more understated than the exotics but has beautiful lines, incredible power and driving capabilities.

Now if it isn't a DD driving to work, well now the options are endless! Perhaps a 250 GT California Spider?

I'm partial to classic cars. Number 4 of course would be a tow vehicle!!! All that said, a Daytona coupe would be awesome too! That's my next build. Same color combo as my toaster. Big brother to the roadster!!

b) New Ford GT.
c) Alfa-Romeo GTV (the new Guila is really nice, but there's something special about the old GTVs.)

Money no object car is a McLaren F1.

Problem is, when I think about what it's worth, for the same money I could buy a whole lot of interesting cars plus a barn to put them in. :D

1970 AMC Javelin - Pro-Street Build. Yes it has to be a 70 many features grouped unique to that year. Coyote driveline sounds nice. but since I favor solid axle. Chrysler bought out AMC a Dodge 392 Hemi with 8-speed Auto like the one in my sons 2016 Charger seems would make both of us happy.

There are several cars I lusted after growing up and a few later models that I wouldn't park in a dark alley if I did own them, but I got the hots for a Cobra when they were first introduced and it got hotter when the 427 came along, so I'm quite happy with my FFR 427 Roadster, even if I do only have a 302 for power. I am not at all unhappy or disappointed in driving my dream car on the road, or just around town for that matter. And I do drive it every chance I get.

Regards, Rick.

Porsche 911. Almost any year, but I actually like the older ones just a bit more than the newer models. What the heck, money is no object? I'll take one of each year.
Then an Aston Martin DB9, DB10, or DB11. (Hey, I'm not picky!!) Perhaps a GT40 . . . any yes, a 21 Window VW microbus. (I know it is sacrilege, but I would have to put in a more powerful engine in that one!!) Finally, if I still have a couple of nickles in my pockets, a Konigsegg 0ne:1. I like the idea of a hand made car.

And since none of that will actually happen, I built my own and love it!!

I've had a number of dream cars over the years. In chronological order (mine, not the car's):

Early 1980s Triumph TR8.
1986 Alfa Romeo Graduate Quadrifoglio. The one with the rear "spoiler" sculpted into the trunk deck, not the plastic bolt-on.
Mid- to late-1980s Porsche 911 with the whale tail.
Late 1980s BMW 3 series.
Early 1990s Jaguar XKS convertible.
Landrover Defender.
1970s Toyota FJ-40 Landcruiser.
Early 2000s BMW 540i.
Late 2010s Porsche 911.
Landrover Marlin Perkins mobile.
Late 2010s BMW 3-series convertible. Now I think it's a 4-series, but who can keep track of all of BMW's offerings these days?
Late 2010s Mercedes Benz E-Class.
Late 2010s Maserati GranTourismo Convertible.

I'm still in love with all of them except the TR8 and the Defender.
