Ok, so my father in law has been finishing a wood veneer dash. It is looking great but it is taking forever (he has had a stroke and is the project is therapeutic). In the meantime I have backup dash with the vinyl that came in the kit. I am planning on using industrial velcro for on the hoop. I also have the Vintage gauges, Russ Thompson turn signal, heater/defroster, and seat heaters. I will not have a glove box and I am planning mounting the stereo head unit in the trunk. I have been avoiding the wiring in hopes that I would have the wood dash, but that is looking like it won't be for a little while. So the question is has anyone made their dashes swappable? I have seen them made accessible and I want to take it to the next level.:cool: Any tips or tricks?
