Can anyone steer me in a good direction to find out where to get a new rear window for my APE hardtop.

I got the top and it never had a window with it.

Also, any specific type of rubber seal to get for the window.

I can probably cut one myself, but Just didn't know if there was somewhere to get the proper plexi-glass or lexan material.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

I got 1/8 lexan from McMaster Carr. Cut it w/ a band saw or jig saw. Mine is modded for quick in/out so I can't help w/ the seal.

What's the quick in and out used for?

What did you do to hold it in?

Very interested in other ideas, thanks

I don't like direct sun so my hardtop is always on. The windows are in and out depending on weather. I cut my lexan so it is oversized by maybe 2 inches total heighth and width. Then I stuck some bulb seal on the leaxn so it can seal to the inside of the top and made 4 of these pieces for the bottom. The felt covered part is at a 45 degree angle so that, as the lexan is slid downward it is forced against the inside of the top.

The top has similar pieces w/ two differences. They have no angle and they are free to swivel on the small machine screw.

I swivel them horizontal, push the lexan against the top and let them drop to vertical so they capture the lexan. There are 4 across the top and 4 across the bottom. Installed the lexan looks like this.

It is about 95% water tight.
