Has everybody that takes one look at the nose upper splash guards just made new ones ?

They were under-sized for my Coupe (#497). I used a divider to mark on them a known distance from the surface of the hood all the way around, then had a local metal shape bend some over-sized replacements. I took my marks and transferred them, then trimmed them down until they fit.
Spend a little time figuring out what you want to do with the passenger side one where it routes past the coolant line before you start cutting.

No, mine fit well once I added the bulb seal. I did glass in a tab in the center of the fender fo suport and made aluminum plates for the bends to add more suport there as well.
I also used so L angle to make up a wider surface on the top edge of the lower panel, it stiffens up that edge and gives a good surface for som lower weather stripping.

someone out there is a picture of one of our coupes with plastic fenderwells, when the bonnet is lifted they stay down in place betweeen the footwell and headlight asembly,........its a clean OEM look and well done......Steven
