Lately i have had a bit of valve train noise in my tristar 351w. Looking for answers I headed to youtube. There I found this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk3cA5JN1H0

Does anyone have any idea who's car it is and what color combo. Judging by the video, he may hang out here or on the other forum. That color is exactly what I am going for. Thanks

FYI valve train noise has subsided.

Either indigo ink pearl or midnight blue pearl. Both gorgeous colors

The usual 'indigo ink' is a lexus color from maybe 6-8 years ago. IMHO it is pretty dang dark. I suggest you look at Mustangs 2012 to 2017. I am really partial to the deep impact blue on my wife's 2015. Search for Dave Bordens MkIV in that color to see if you like it. But there was a similar color before 15 and I noticed recently that the 17s have a new name for something also similar. I haven't checked codes for these but they are close to what you like.

It very well might be Indigo Ink however it appears that the video was shot on kind of an overcast day which could be making it look darker than real life. I have painted Lexus Spectra Blue which isn't quite as dark as the Indigo Ink:

Spectra mica is my current choice. What white is that jeff?

Obviously Jeff will know but, if the spectre is a 3 stage color, it definitely adds cost.

Lexus Spectra Blue (8M6) is not a 3 stage. The stripes on the one in the photo above ARE 3 stage; Nissan Pearl White (QAC). Hard to capture the pearl effect with a camera but the human eye certainly sees it in real life! This is about the best representation I have in a photo:

The blue changes depending on light but except at night time doesn't ever go as dark as Indigo Ink. Here are a couple of examples:

Hope that helps!

Shouldn't These Colors Be Ford Beautiful Blue & Ford Brilliant White?

This is just a joke from The Dark Side Guy so don't get upset.

It is a good looking color combo for sure.
