Just thought I'd check in and say hello from GMT+12.

I'm planning an 818c build in the next year or so (all going to plan), so apologies in advance for all the questions! Have owned a fair few Euro and Japanese cars (23 at last count), but never anything from the ol' US of A. Imperial fasteners is going to be a blast from the past (back to my Mini days), but I am sure I will still sleep at night ;)

We have JDM spec Subarus coming out our ears in this part of the world, so hopefully that makes our options somewhat easier. I currently have a '95 Impreza WRX STi RA as a non-daily to keep me in the Subie game.
I'm planning on an EZ30 NA build, but we'll see how that pans out.

I see there another couple of guys over my way who have got themselves into an 818, So I'll hit them up and hopefully see their builds at some stage.

Thanks so much for everyone who has contributed so far to the forum. An amazing resourse, and of course makes life a lot easier for those following :)

Somewhat, as I will be in Hamilton in a few weeks timeWow, that's a long haul for you. I imagine it's a SFO transfer, and then prob abother 12+ hours beyond that. Good luck!
Pretty sure Junty is in Hamilton. Perhaps if you get bored there (rather easy from what I hear;)) you could go for a blat in his 818S!

TroyHave spoken to Junty (Hamiltron) and Flamshackle (Chch), both incredibly helpful.

I'm in Napier, but only planning/dreaming for a 818C at this stage. I think there's another North Island 818S, but can't be a hundy on that.

Napier is my home town. Went to Colenso many, many years ago.
I have a mark 4 that is almost done, hope to take it back there one day.
