Would anyone have contact info on who makes a leg burn protector. Seems I saw one that rolls out from the seat. I suspect it would be easy to make one but the one I saw for sale was top notch quality. thanks

Is this the one you're thinking of? http://thepipesarehot.com/.

I believe so...short story is I'm in Hawaii and ran into a guy who has a cobra and his wife has burned her legs...told him I'd try to find this out for him...thanks a ton!
My wife made me some really nice ones out of black vinyl and sewed high temp welding blanket to the back side. They look and work great. From a functionality standpoint just buy some welding blanket and cut to fit, or get it stitched up with whatever you want on the outside.

I bought a 18"x18" welding blanket at Fastenal. It works great. I tuck it behind the passenger seat and drape it over the pipe if I have someone that can't get out easily. I think it was about thirty bucks.

thanks all...I'll make my own too. I was planning on velcro by the door threshold, then flip it out and in.
