I can't get my brakes to work correctly which I believe may be a vacuum issue as I am only getting 8 PSI so I just ordered a vacuum pump through Summit which I plan on mounting in the truck to remedy this issue.
Anyone else ever installed a vacuum pump? Did you find your brakes working better?
The only issue I am having is the noise it is going to generate, but I don't think it'll be heard over the exhaust.

I've got one. It works OK when driving around town, but it doesn't recover near fast enough if you're using the brakes a lot. It IS LOUD!

I don't track my car nor do I plan on tracking it, when you say a lot could you give me a little more detail? Did you notice a difference in your brakes before and after? I live in CA and there will be a lot of traffic so I am curious if this is a problem I will have.
Which pump did you get? Where did you mount it?

Not exactly a track day, but when we did our club cruise to Hocking Hills State Park (lots of twisty roads), I was driving it pretty hard and the pump was not keeping up. I've got the SSBC pump http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SSB-28146/ . I mounted it on the back of the driver fenderwell. Mine's not an FFR, I don't think there's any structure there in an FFR, so I don't think that would work for you.
