I'm looking for the metal plate that fits over the wiper motor. NOT the flat aluminum plate that comes with the FFR kit that the wiper motor mounts to. I'm looking for the GM plate that is assembled onto the wiper motor on the C5 Corvette that has the tab that sticks up that the park cam indexes to so that the wiper arm goes into the park position. On the GTM, this plate ends up being sandwiched between the wiper motor and the flat aluminum FFR mounting plate.

Is there anyone who has one of these that would be willing to send it to me so that I can put it into CAD so I can make them here...and then send the part back to you? I have found that these are surprisingly difficult to get a hold of. The last 3 cars I've had in the shop do not have these because the owners just purchased a new aftermarket wiper motor instead of the complete donor wiper assembly. From my past conversations with the local GM stealership, the only way to get that plate is to order the complete wiper assembly for a C5.

Thanks!

If you go to the link here:

http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c5-tech/3447432-windshield-wiper-motor-pauses-straight-up.html

And look at post #3. The second photo is the plate I'm looking for. In that photo, it is the gold colored plate that has the tab that sticks up for the park mechanism to engage.

Wallace18 .....on the photos you attached, you would have to unbolt the wiper arm assembly from the output shaft of the wiper motor....then remove the 3 big torx screws that hold the wiper motor to that whole wiper assy.....and that gold colored plate that it still on the wiper motor is the plate I'm talking about. Thanks!
