I have a 4.6 2v from a 99 GT that ran great in the donor, since I have pulled it from the car and tried to diet the harness myself, I cannot get it to turn over, and the theft light on the gauges is blinking.
Yes, I have the key in the lock cylinder with sensor.
Yes, I have the gauges hooked up
This motor was running great 2 weeks ago in the car boiling the tires, I hate to spend much money buying a professional harness, or buying a tuner and custom tunes for this motor since it is only the 260hp version. It seems like if I need to spend real money on this motor then I would be better off selling it and buying f150/mustang coyote
Anyway I see a lot of talk on mustang websites that always covers that same ground again about the key, the gauges, and ECM from the same vehicle. Well I have all that and I even drove it 2 weeks ago.
So I am looking for someone that can flash the ecm to remove PATS, and as much other stuff as they can turn off like cruise control, emission, etc..
