Registering and getting a title in Colorado

We are thinking of purchasing the 33 model, has any one registered and received a title. What if any emission problems were encountered?

My car and I are a transplant, so I can't give you the details on the initial registration and titling process, but this thread may help

the thread is about a year old, but Chris has the process all written out...

As for the emissions, if you get the car titled with "kit" or Replica" in the name, the car is emissions exempt

That is correct. Thanx to the hard work of the Collecter Car Council, anything titled as a Kit Car, does not need any emissions testing. Also, only cars registered in the Denver ara need emissions testing. I live in Colorado Springs, and I don't need smog testing for any of my vehicles.
