So in preparation for my Gen 3 coupe someday, I obtained the explorer 302 to rebuild and looking for the best donor pedal box and best donor rear with discs, which are the preferred years to use ? Thanks fellas!

Don't know if it's preferred but I can say I used 02 mustang for both

One advantage of the coupe vs roadster is the much wider fenders. I suspect, although not confirmed, that you could use the 95-98 as is. It is 1.5 in wider but I think 10.5 wheels w/ 315s would still fit.

Watching John George's build I noted using the 17 X 9 wheels from his Challenge car he needed 3" spacers behind the wheels to move them out. He's running the 2015 IRS setup so you should be fine.

You can use an 8.8 from a 94-04 sn95 mustang with stock length axles if you use a 10.5 rim and the right offset(94-04 mustang rear offset). 11in wide wheels will need the shorter fox axles and special caliper brackets or a custom offset.

The pedal box should come from a 79-93 fox mustang donor or order the wilwood pedal box. Assuming this is still true with the gen 3 coupe.
