I am very excited to join this forum. I've been dreaming of owning a Cobra since I was a kid and have been seriously considering my first build for several months. The short story is my father past away 10 years ago and I have always wished I had something tangible of his, something that he cherished that I could have and remember him by. That said, I want to have the same for my son which is why I want to build a Factory Five Cobra and someday pass it down to him.

So.... I'm a planner not an impulse guy, my plan is to dial-in all my specs before I pull the trigger......hopefully within the next six months. I'm sure in the meantime I'll be glued to this forum and asking all sorts of questions.
Be prepared!

Thank you,
Todd Bruen

Hi Brew, I'm also new to the this forum. So, welcome to both of us!! I live in the Vail, Arizona area, South East of Tucson. I'm almost finished with my project MKIV #8625. I cannot tell enough about this and the other forum in helping you with your build. It is the one stop for all your needs and questions. You will find just about any topic already posted. all I do is search and bingo!!! it has already been posted by someone else.

Good luck with your build.

Manuel

Thank you everyone for the welcoming. It is comforting because although I am very mechanically inclined and can put together anything, installing the engine and everything associated with that scares the heck out of me. That is literally the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger. I plan on flying to Michigan for the assembly school this summer in hopes that it will help. If only there was a step-by-step with the engine......
