Hey Gang,
picked up a 2006 MK3 with a crate 302 Ford motor - the existing radiator is damaged - is there a recommendation for a replacement (*FFR price is $299 and shipping is too high).
Thanks in advance for any recommendations

A stock Mustang one from the parts store should work just fine. Order one for a 89 Mustang GT

RockAuto is a great resource for parts like this.

And at a third of the cost of the FFR piece, it's a no brainer.

Is there any concern about the plastic ends versus an all-metal design?

I like the brass radiator do you can remove the filler neck and cap the hole. I don't like plugs.

I need a radiator too for my MkIII project (Ford 4.6L DOHC), and thinking an oil cooler as well. Has anyone used an integrated radiator/oil cooler in their FFR Roadster? Saw an ad in Grass Roots Motorsports for CSF Racing, http://csfrace.com.

I wouldn't be concerned about the plastic tanks on rad's. They have been used for many many years now, on roadster builds and millions of production cars without issues. How you mount the rad is more of a factor.
