Thought I would share another one,

Just finished the reverse lockout switch for the shift lever. Basically, you would lift the outer sleeve via the dog bone using your first two fingers with the shift ball in your palm. This will be wired to energize the reverse solenoid of the tranny and will also be connected to turn on the rear view camera and the backup lights. Once the tranny is in reverse the reverse switch in the tranny would keep the camera and the back lights on. The wooden bit is a dummy for the tranny shift lever.

.......and here's the top end of the shifter. The dog-bone is milled out of a single piece of aluminum (again, loving that mill).

For the knob - I want to get rid of the 'HURST' logo on the ball - I could fill it in, black it out, OR, was also considering cutting the center of the ball out and replacing it with a disk of burled walnut to match the rest of the interior. Thoughts?

That's pretty trick.

Decided that we don't like the 'HURST' logo - cut the knob in half and added a burled walnut insert with some aluminum accents.
