I'm running a 79 LTD driver side inlet water pump. What I'm trying to gather is the correct bolt kit for it and my application. Its going on a 351w with the correct timing cover for that pump. ARP sells a couple of different timing cover/water pump bolt kits. Anyone have any idea of a correct part number for this application. Thanks

Don't know without researching but while the subject is up---remember that some of the bolts go through the pump and cover into water jackets and need to be sealed so you don't end up with coolant leaks.

Good luck. I have never found a set that has all the correct bolts. A couple of my bolts have double lock washers because they are just a little too long.

I found a picture on a vintage mustang site. It had measurements for each bolt. I have to find 5/16 x 1 3/8 and other odd sizes. We have a local bolt supply house that may have them. If not it will be 1/4" increments. I will post up the picture when I get home.

I have one also. It was the 1/4 inch increments that were a killer. And then you also may have alt or PS brackets that bolt on which require an extra 1/4 inch at least.

Well duh, buy one a little longer, cut it to the length you need.

Late Model Restoration has a set of bolts for 1979 water pumps.

Dorman makes three of the hard to find ones for 5.0L Mustangs and only $9 part number 23744. The kit from Late Model is a hard pill to swallow at $80
