A mid-engine vette would be great, but the rumored price tag is crazy. I have read $100k+. At $52k, a vette was almost worth the stretch, at $100k+ out of my league!

So will this help the mid-engine craze and boost GTM sales or reduce the value since it is a build and not a factory built car? They have threatened the release of a mid engine version forever. I hope it happens even if I can't afford one ever.

I am surprised that no one has asked the really important question yet... Will the trans-axle be able to be used on the GTM?
