I know you wonderful people in Canada measure in Kilometers, but four months seems like an awfully long time to drive from Wareham to Edmondton regardless of how you measure it! Congratulations!! You are embarking upon a truly wonderful journey. I know you are going to have a great time. We will look forward to following along with you. Keep us posted of your progress, and feel free to ask for assistance. Welcome to the family!!

Welcome Aboard From Way Down South In New Orleans!
I see your car came with a Co-Pilot.
Was that a new option?
Congratulations!

Congrats! I know from the experiences of my "North of the Border" FFR friends that importing to Canada poses some challenges.
Regarding your "co-pilot"; Our dearly departed and greatly missed Austrailian Cattle Dog, Blue Heeler, Cow Dog, Dingo (whatever you wanted to call her...she didn't seem to care) went to work every day with either my wife or me. After work and on her "days off" she loved to go Cobra riding! If I got the car out she would stand on the passenger side wagging and looking hopeful. When I opened the door she would wait till I said "let's go" then jump in and take her seat. She mostly watched out the windshield, occasionally looking to either side. As if these cars don't draw enough attention by themselves try pulling up to a stop light with a dog sitting up like a person in the passenger seat and see how many people point!

Enjoy the build and give that co-pilot some seat time when you're finished!

Thanks all for the best wishes, I am very much looking forward to this and sharing with and learning from you. It took that long because Transport Canada took 2 months to give me approval to import and by that time there was a number of conflicts (weather) that held up Stewart Transport from delivering to the border until last weekend. Only had to drive 14 hours round trip to the Coutts/Sweetgrass crossing to pick it up, Stewart Rocks and Jerry the driver was great!
GoDadGo, My assistant is Ella, she is a 6 year old Greyhound and is always in the garage with me. Great moral support when things aren't going right!
Jeff, sorry to hear that your pal is not with you anymore, they become such a huge part of you. Yes I will enjoy having Ella watching me through the build but we will see if she will hang around when I start her up!

Congrats. Look forward to following along! My canine assistants like to eat things in the garage so they only get occasional visits to check the progress! Haha

Congrats from a fellow Canuck South of the border. I had planned a roadster with my Dad over 10 years ago when I lived near Ottawa but then he passed suddenly so my dream faded. The I moved here and am 2.5hrs from Factory Five and it made it a lot easier to get one.
Is your co-pilot a Greyhound?

What's with dogs and these cars?! I can't even call mine co-pilot anymore. They've kicked me out entirely!

KDubU, Sorry to hear of your Dad, mine passed 5 years ago and did not get to see my dream come true, but I know he would have loved it! Yes she is a Greyhound, she is like another child our second child!

Too funny! We have a Greyhound as well, our fourth. He is my bud but does not get near the roadster.
