The beginnings of my MK2 deck chair, now i need a deal on a gas cap and some tail lights :)

Instead of a fairly expensive Lemans cap, you might consider using that space for a cup holder.
I don't know if it fits your design plans or not, but thought I would share my thoughts.

Super cool! Wish I had a place to put something like that. I have a set of 4 taillights that I didn't use on my build. How about $30 plus shipping???

Yes, you definitely need tail lights. Instead of a gas cap, perhaps a patio table umbrella or even a checkered flag?
