View Full Version : I pulled the trigger and placed my order!
First, thanks to all of you that helped me muddle through my plan and questions over the past month or so. I took a lot of your advice into consideration and placed my order for the following:
MK4 Roadster Complete Kit
Powder Coated Chassis
Power Steering Kit
Body Cut Outs
Leather Roadster Seats
GPS Gauges
17x9 and 17x10.5 Halibrands with Nitto Tires
D/S Chrome Roll Bar
P/S Chrome Roll Bar
Wiper Kit
Wilwood Front Brake Kit (Black calipers)
Wilwood Rear Brake Kit (Black calipers)
3-Link Mosier 8.8 Rear end
I set up for a June 1st kit completion date and will use Stewart to deliver the kit. This should give me time to go to the build school and get my body buck and frame dolly built, and get some shelves set up to keep everything organized once all the goodies arrive!

Right now my plan is to go with the Blueprint 347 with EFI and TKO-600 package. They are an easy drive from me, too!
Congrats!

Congrats Papa, I just ordered mine on 1/17 for Mar 18 completion date. Build school was great, I went last July. I'm doing the Blueprint 347/TKO also only carbed. ENJOY!

Your lucky she was satisfied with a stove..lol. Some want diamonds..
I'm sure I'm not done yet, but after 31 years of putting up with me, she deserves a few special luxuries.

I wish I could have done an earlier delivery, but we have too many things going on this spring and by pushing out the delivery, I was able to pile on a few extra options on my order. I built my chassis dolly today, body buck will get done in the next couple of weeks.

I followed the design I found in one of Jeff Kleiner's posts.

I'm not in a hurry or anything, I built my chassis dolly about a year ago. I'll do the body buck hopefully next week. Since I'm single I won't be buying any stoves or diamonds.

Congratulations and welcome. Look forward to following your progress.
Make copies of the inventory lists that show the contents of each box. Tape the pages to the boxes to help you find things as you go. It's very satisfying as those boxes get emptied and the chassis starts to look like a car.
Have fun.

Hi
TomH33 from the 33 Hot Rod side I am interested in seeing your build if you don't mind. I also live in Parker and am pulling the trigger on the 33 Hot Rod full kit in March. I almost built a Roadster but I not a Ford guy and didn't want to make a Chevy cobra although GoDad Roadster is pretty sweet. Using a LS3 495HP with T56 Magnum, etc. At present I am gathering parts. Contact me.

TomH33,
I won't get my kit until June, but you are definitely welcome to come by a anytime -- just be ready to get your hands dirty. ;)

Welcome to a really cool group and congrats on ordering. I showed my wife your stove top pic. We had a good chuckle.

Man, you got off easy.... I had to buy my wife her own fun car - a '67 Camaro that she'd wanted for years. To top it off, now I have to take care of the dang thing, too.
