MK1 rear spring mounts

I know, I know its old, but has anyone removed the spring mounts from chassis because their running coil overs...thanks in advance!

Yes. Just leave enough at the top to help support the roll bar leg

Yes. That tube is surprisingly thin wall steel. A metal blade on a recipricating saw cuts through it easily.
