I've been lurking here for a few months and figured it was time to join.
I remember my father taking me to Al Grillo Ford in Lynn,Mass in 1965-66 and in the showroom was a white with blue stripe GT350Mustang and beside it was a 427 S/C AC Cobra in red with white stripe.
That Cobra stole my heart then and nothing has changed in the forty+ years since except I got older.
Age 60 comes next year, wife #2 is history and it looks like it's time to fulfill my dream.
I've done a lot of looking around and IMHO there really is no other choice than FFR.
The design, quality of frame and suspension is the best I've seen.
I did some SCCA racing back in the 70's so I know a bit about cars but these to me look like full race car standards and you just don't see that in the aftermarket.
Then I've read about the owner of FFR, David Smith, and he stands out to me in terms of charachter and comitment.
I read about his daughter having CF and my heart goes out to them both.
I'm one of the Admins over at the XtremeSystems forum.
That's where you find all the crazed geeks that toss LN2 onto their PC's to push them to unheard of speeds.
I run high end machines to do AIDS and Cancer research with the teams over there.
Last I'd like to say from what I've read here that it looks like a good group.
No spamming, dumping on others and even when you disagree you do it with class.
My best to you all.
Dave

Somehow I knew you'd be the first to respond.
You always have a good word for all.
I never buy lottery or raffle tickets but I bought 5 for that OCC raffle mostly as a way to make a donation to CF and secondly yes, I wouldn't mind winning that MK4 but the motivation was to try and help CF..
As to a build although the coupe orginally grabbed my heart the Type 65 is something special that appeals to the "older" me.
Also a bit easier to live with on those days your out and it decides to rain..:)
