So as the title states... my first deviation from my build plan. Originally I was going with a t5 behind my 351w. Well it's time to order my motor and I'm thinking but once cry once. The good news is that I have a tko500 local that is comming out of a mustang that Was involved in a house fire. I will be purchasing the entire car for 1800$. 302 block seems to be fine as is the transmission. The car had 1300 miles on the new engine and trans combo. It was a customer of mines car. I should be able to use the clutch/pressure plate, fork, bell housing, and all. I will need a 28 oz flywheel but I would need that either way.

My questions are... what modifications to the tko500 are needed other than the trimming of the webbing on the tail end of the trans? I have read mentions of the ebrake not working as designed.. also some pictures of where to cut would be most helpful!

Forgot to mention, the car has a steeda tri-ax shifter on it. Would this be applicable to our cars?

There's a picture on where you need to cut it in the manual, I believe it's under the transmission prep section
