Anybody have a picture of the Breeze dead pedal that Mark sells specifically for the Wilwood pedal box (Breeze #70753)? There's no photo on the Breeze web page.
The Russ Thompson piece looks good, but doesn't appear to be recommended with the Wilwood box. Anybody know why?
Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!

Couple of comments. This is the #70649 dead pedal kit that I've used a couple times, including this most recent pic. I'm not sure why this or the #70753 would be specific to the Wilwood pedal box other than perhaps the pedal surface is made to look the same? Doesn't matter in my case because I used the Forte AC pedals. But either of these may be affected if you have the newest version of the Mk4 DS sheet metal with the little bumpout on the outside. Possibly would affect where they can be mounted and maybe how effective they would still be. I personally don't know. I suspect you saw that Mark says to email him for a pic of #70753. He's typically very responsive.

I was able to find the photo shown below that Mark posted to the other forum, but it's a number of years old. The description for the 70753 indicates that it uses an external brace (the small aluminum angle in the photo?), whereas the 70649 appears to attach solely to the footbox sheet metal. So the method of attachment varies between the two products. I'm guessing the small angle is riveted to the round chassis tubes shown on the left side of your photo, and the dead pedal is in turn bolted to the angle to help stabilize it. But just a guess on my part. I'll ping Mark and see what he has to say.
I assume the 70649 you show in the photo attaches only to the outer wall of the footbox, correct? If so, how's the rigidity/stability?
Thanks for the info, Paul.

Yes, bolts to the footbox wall with right angle brackets. It's very solid with no discernible movement in actual use. I have the same part in #7750 with two seasons and several thousand miles. Works great.
