For those of you that have done the mid shift option on your Tremec TKO, what shifter handle did you use? I can't seem to find one short enough that also fits the TKO mount. I think want one that has a very slight pull backward, but total height of only 4-6". I only need the handle, not the top hand grip piece. I'm not sure what I will choose for that either, but it seems those options are virtually endless. If you have pictures, they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Here are a couple of shots with mine in the picture. This handle and ball came from Forte. It was too straight up and I had a tendency to for my fingers to hit the dash on third and fifth shifts so I redrilled it to get some backward slope and more clearance to the dash.

I believe we used this one on my friends roadster with the mid shift position.

Wanted the same for for my build (short and with a slight angle back), and had the same difficulty finding exactly what I was after. The Hurst 5387201 mentioned above came the closest but was still a bit too tall for my taste. This is what the 5387201 looks like.

It's listed as 6-3/8". Was looking for something closer to 5".

Ended up adding a third bolt hole as shown below (red circle). The bolt hole spacing is 7/8", so this allowed me to drop the shifter handle by almost an inch.

Finished product. Hard to see because of the boot, but the height ended up right at 5.5". Just about perfect.

I think we have a winner!! Thanks Karlos. That looks like a very simple, and inexpensive, solution!

I cut down the FFR shifter and grind one side flat, then drilled and tap it. I made a connector out of 2"x2" 1/4" steel plate and bolted everything to the forward rear TKO shift position.

Check out the Jordon Shifter. I like the angle and the polished look
