Inspector in San Diego

I am new to the forum and new to the cars. But I am planning on purchasing one. I'm debating between two of them. One is posted on this board by Chip.

Sounds like a great car, but would like to have it inspected first. Prior to calling a random inspector, does anyone know of a resource to use in San Diego? The seller offered to bring the car to them.

A friend of mine is a mechanic and has a shop in the PB area that he owned for some 30+ years. He's built a MK4 with a coyote engine with countless mods. He's not a forum member but if you pm me, I can give you his number. He usually takes the end of the year off, but he might be available before mid Dec.
