Curious is anyone makes an clutch pedal that fits the wilwood pedal box that is narrower? My big feet could use some more space to the left of the pedal. Looking for some options.

I'm planning to slide my clutch pedal one bolt hole to the right and then trim it. I slid the brake pedal a bolt hole to the left. I will only rim one of them. I'm waiting until I get everything finished though. I don't plan to carpet the DS foot box floor or sides in order to make a little more room. I'm going to spray on the Lizard skin thermal and sound insulation and then top coat it with spray on rubber. The stuff from the infomercial where they fix leaky gutters and make a boat out of a screen door. I saw them at SEMA and they sell a lot of that stuff to car guys for a spray on formed floor matt. They gave me a spray on and a paint on sample. Have not tried it yet. Looks very durable.

I have the brake pedal mounted full left. I experimented with the clutch full right. The two where just to close with that arrangement. Then I centered up the clutch pedal and that allows me enough room to fully extend my leg to the left of the clutch pedal. Substantially more comfortable for a resting leg position. I am pretty pleased with that but if I found a narrower pedal I might look at that.
I should have said in the original thread my feet on the pedals was not my issue. I was looking for that resting leg position.

I found that he corners of of the pedals are usually what my foot caught. I haven't done it yet (no kart stage yet) but I may end up trimming the corners a little.

The threads show the amazing detail to which each of you build and what we as dreamers look to manage as we go thru a build. Thanks!

My main area of concern with modifying my existing pedal is it ending up looking crappy. The room I achieved certainly helped but if I could purchase a skinnier one I might be onboard for that. I will search around and see what I can find.

Some trim down the standard Wilwood pedals. They're also designed to be mounted on any of the holes, if that helps. Not just the center ones. This pic is actually the prototype Factory Five 20th Anniversary build that I took at the 2015 FF Open House where it was introduced. You can see examples of both. The clutch pedal is narrowed and the brake pedal is mounted off center. This is also before they modified the DS sheet metal, so it was a tight squeeze.

This is another Coyote build taken at the 2015 London Cobra Show. Here the brake pedal was narrowed and the clutch moved over. Also shows the corner trimmed off as was mentioned. Again, before the newer DS sheet metal was available.

Makes you appreciate the newer wider footbox. But maybe these give you some ideas to make more space.

These are the Mike Forte AC pedals for Wilwood. Very nice pieces. Just bolt right on with bolts under the center cover. Overall, only slightly narrower than the Wilwood pedals. But with the taper give a little more space to get your feet by. This is from my current build.

I agree with everything above. I, too, was concerned about room to the left of the clutch, but found that I could get my 11 1/2 sneakers by it with the standard set up. I bet you have some extra aluminum hanging around. (like the extra footbox front or the extra footbox inside wall) If you modify the outside footbox wall slightly, you can gain extra width on that side without having to have to modify the pedals themselves. Just an option...

I have size 13 feet, not overly wide though. I have the standard MKIV sheet metal, Wilwood pedals, and just have to make sure that I wear the right shoes. FFR is now doing a slight kick out on the left. They will sell you one, or it would be easy to make one.

I have the expanded footbox sheet metal. By moving the clutch pedal to the center holes I was able to make enough room to get my left leg to the left of the pedals with no further action needed.

If I had to do over, I would use a stock FOX pedal box and just bend the pedals to where I need them
