Dreaded installing these for a long time. It actually worked out pretty well. They are clearly 60's technology but they work as well as I expected. Lucas wheel boxes, stainless tube, custom wedge spacers and lots of grease.

Yes they take fiddling, but can be made to work fairly well. Mine are 10 yrs old and still running fine.

They actually work pretty good as long as there is no friction whatsoever..lol.. It's when they actually run against the glass, that they start skipping, and causing the grief they are renown for..
