Side Pipes

My MKIV has been done since May. I have struggled with what pipes I want and have come to the conclusion that they need to be black. HOWEVER I would like a ceramic black chrome if you will, has anyone done this? Just BQ black is not what I'm looking for.. Many Thanks in advance.. Chuck

I don't see any reason you can't get it done... I'm not sure if there are black ceramic coatings that look like black chrome or not. If someone can accomplish that, I would think that it would hold up and give you that look.

I had my side & J- pipes as well as my intake elbow ceramic coated in glacier black (in between a matte and a satin black) and I noticed the company that did them had a black option that was similar to a "black chrome"...
