So I just wanted to take a moment to detail two very different experiences I have had recently with WRX parts vendors. My car is still a DD while I save for the money to buy the kit and I recently had my throwout bearing go.
I ordered a clutch kit from rallysportdirect.com and the customer service was outstanding. They shipped the order quickly and were very helpful on the phone to make sure I got what I wanted (settled on https://www.rallysportdirect.com/fits/2007-subaru-impreza-wrx-tr-2-5/single-disc-clutches/cci1-15026-2100-competition-clutch-stage-2-steelback-brass-plus-clutch-kit-w-flywheel I will let you know how it goes once its broken in). Great people to deal with and I highly recommend them. The price with shipping was almost the best I was able to find and the service more than made up for the disparity.

My other experience was with fastWRX.com. I ordered a snout repair kit (a normal problem from what I have been told and disastrous when it happens I learned). I called to order the part, I prefer to order by phone when I can, I was told that they don't take orders by phone but that if the web site says they have it then it will ship same day, and rushed off the phone, this was Tuesday morning. I felt a little brushed off but not enough to really care and placed the order within 10 minutes of getting off the phone. 2 days later on Thursday I emailed them asking for a tracking number assuming it should be arriving that day or the next, it was VA to NC on normal FedEx so I expected 2 days of shipping. I was told that the part had been out of stock and that it would probably ship today if they got to it on time. That meant my part wouldn't get to me until Saturday at the soonest. It also meant I was lied to by a lazy employee when I ordered the part, and the reason I ordered from them was because I knew I would have the part by start of business Friday so I could get my car finished that day. When I asked if they could do something about the shipping because of the previously stated reasons I was blown off and as I was placing a order later that day after giving ample time for a response I received a shipping notification. Although it seems so far to be the right part I will not be ordering from them ever again.

This just shows how important good customer service is in the modern day online market places.
