I'm sure many others suffer from the same separation anxiety that I do this time of year - as we pack our fun cars away for a long winter's slumber. I took 7074 out for a recent final run to burn off the remainder of the gas that was in it before filling it with stabilized non-ethanol premium that I bought in a recent bootleg run over the border into Wisconsin (where they still sell actual gas, not corn squeezins). This is the end of my second driving season with it on the road and I was able to log 4k miles during the past six months or so - bringing my total to.....

It's now tucked away under a cover in my trailer, which is locked in the corner of my workshop. Sleep tight, little car..... see you when the snow melts.

Nice to see you racking up the miles. Lots of miles of smiles.

Put skis on it and have a really fast snowmobile! LOL!

Very thankful for the longer driving season down here in Georgia.

Unfortunately I'm in the same boat. Just not enough nice days in a month to warrant insuring it for the road. Topped up, stabil-ized, and tucked under a car cover.

4000 miles in six months is quite a bit of time behind the wheel. Were you using it as your daily driver?

Not a daily driver, but I do take it out every chance I get - even if short runs. But, my favorite is to disappear for a day on the weekend with it and pound a few hundred miles on before I put it away in the evening.

Sorry to hear it. I'm with Gary, winter usually falls on a weekend here. :)

Been lobbying the wife for relocation for quite some time... maybe someday - sigh.
