I think I have done a pretty thorough search and can't seem to find the answer. If this has already been answered then I apologize in advance.

I am trying to acquire the correct emergency brake cables for my build. I am planning to use the FFR supplied handle that came with the complete kit. I have a rear end with main disc brakes and then a drum brake built into the rotor for the emergency brakes. Here is a picture of the set up

My question is how do I connect a standard fox body e-brake cable to the "hook" on the drum brake. All the cables I can find just have the standard round ferrule type fitting on the end. See the picture below .

Do I need a special fitting for the hook?
Do I simply wrap the cable around the hook and use a clamp to hold it in place?
Does the spring on the end of the cable hold the ferrule fitting in place?
I know this is probably a dumb question but this is certainly new to me. Thanks in advance.

These are instructions for connecting Locar cables to calipers. Not sure how the OEM cable ball ends compare to the Locar parts.
The clevis is available separately, but are a little pricey at about $40 a pair for these small parts. Again, I'm not sure if they are a direct fit to the OEM cables.
I'm using the Locar cables and handle with the same brakes you have and install and work with no problem.
