Modular Manifolds (4.6 2V, 2000 GT Donor)

Hi,

My reading of the Instruction Manual says to "keep the headers on the same side but flip them". But the drivers side has a solid vacuum line - did I miss something?

I'm building a 289, hopefully the answer is the same as for the Roadster!

That connection is for your EGR. Some people like myself choose to eliminate it and plug the manifold and remove the egr valve from the plenum and replace with a blanking plate. This does require a retune of the EEC to prevent a check engine light but I had to do that to remove PATS anyways. If you decide to keep it you will need to fabricate a replacement tube

Here in the Peoples Republic of Ontario, we need to get emissions tests every two years, so I need to keep the emissions as stock as possible, So I'll have to make up a tube. Thanks!!
