Well, I am done and it's time to graduate.

Thanks. The OS is from West Marine and the cup holders are good ole eBay specials.

another question please. How did you get that effect in the engine bay aluminum? I made the HUGE mistake of marking up my panels with a sharpy. Now I have "this side up" and driver side interior panel #2" marked all over my panels.

need to cover that up

That is a technique called engine turning. It is done using a circular wire wheel or sanding disk on a drill press or mill. There are a number of good how to videos on YouTube.

If you just want to remove the writing, just put a little acetone or brake cleaner on a rag and wipe off the Sharpie ink. It'll come right off.
