Oh, and I don't think it was a scratch and dent sale. Apart from 1 set of wheels that had minor scuff marks, everything was brand new and boxed as far as I could tell.
I think the polished/stainless side pipes were $299 (great price, considering they are $599 when you buy a kit as well).

Thats the thing! SOOO Many returns (like those wheels, geez I couldn't find the scratch they were sent back for!) are really brand new parts and we cant sell em as new so thru the year they gather in the parts area upstairs. I could not believe there wasnt a fight over FULL SET of ALCON brakes for $1,000 bucks! but they sold at the end of the day the guys told me. We always try an make it a reward for guys who come to the open house. This year it was even more cause the weather kept alot of people away. I'd say we had 1000 people where normally we get 2,000 - 4,000 people. There were about 50 cars (HARDCORE!) where we easily double that number plus on sunny days! All was a great time, hope folks got some great deals.

Walking to the parking lot with the wheel, someone asked,"Did you really ONLY need one wheel?"
YES!

I was the one who lucked out and picked up that set of "scratched" wheels. Four Halibrands 17 x 9 & 17 x 10.5 for $550! They were supposed to have a scratch (but I couldn't find the scratch either Dave!) I had my pretty wife stand guard over them until I could pull my car around and load them up. Sorry to the 4 other people who came up and tried to buy them while my wife was waiting. Also snagged a set of the Visors for $49 and Wind Wings for $49 a set.

With a day like that, what would you expect? I bought one of the wiper motors and a couple sets of wiper arms and wiper blades. I met George (who I need to email) who had the wheel boxes (upgraded to finish line) and I'll be buying those. Hoping the mac will either take mercy on me or maybe I'll tell them that Governor Patrick is my dad or something (which will really perplex them). Also bought an autometer water temp gauge. I buy one gauge at every open house. This is the last one of the ones that had been a mustang donor gauge.
I came away with a proportioning valve. I would have liked to have bought a set of those $299 stainless side pipes, but I couldn't see myself dealing with that large box in my Roadster for the next two weeks during the remainder of my trip.
I was able to get;
Roadster leather steering wheel for $40.
Wilwood forged pedal box $40.
