Sometimes when I post, I use " insert image" icon and I get picture in body of post and sometimes they are links to click on.
What am I missing to make sure picture is in body of post?
Thanks

Nothing - the insert image feature of this forum software is hit or miss. Nothing you are doing wrong. The best way to reliably, consistently insert images is to use photobucket or imgur and copy/paste the img code right into your forum message here. It's very easy too. The code just has "img" enclosed by square brackets, then the URL to your image, then "/img" enclosed by square brackets.

Thanks. I was afraid of that. Seems to be worse if u are trying to more than 1 image.

I get an image every time.
I make every picture I post 1200 x XXXX. It also helps your thread load much faster.

1900x1900 MAX, under 2mb and the image will show inline.

Just YESTERDAY photobucket took a dump and photos from that site were not showing up (I got a PM from a concerned member who lost all the images in edwardB's threads.

If you want to make sure the images you post on this site STAY accessible, use the forum's gallery.

IMO.

Almost there, but you don't want to attach an image, you want to embed it.

All I did to embed the pic below was to add the final ] ...
