Possible Cobra calendar for forum members

Hi all

My name is Taz, and over the past several years, I've done a calendar for the GTM owners featuring their own builds. Its become an annual tradition. I do it for essentially the cost of production and shipping, not for profit. (There's a story there, but its a long one and I won't bore you.)

Anyway, this year I have been given permission to do a calendar for each Factory Five model's ownership group. I'm curious if there is enough interest in the Cobra community here. I'm attaching three images from previous GTM calendars so you can get an idea of what I'm doing....

Also, please feel free to ask your GTM bretheren on the forum whether or not they have been happy with previous calendars.

In order to start, the first thing I need is pics of your cars. 12 owners, 12 cars.

Lets, get them in, boys!

Requirements:
Minimum 3200 pixels wide, decent quality

Requests:
Car photo - multiple photos from different angles.
Engine bay photo
In the past on the GTM calendar, each month has featured an automotive quote. This can be your own "catch phrase" or saying, or a quote by someone famous. (Example: "Its not a throttle, its a detonator" - Jeremy Clarkson)

Information:
FFR chassis number
Engine type (and horsepower number if you like)
Owner Name
Owner location (city/state)
Does your car have a name?
anything else you want included (featured in magazine? special build features? unique stuff?)

I would buy one. My contribution in photo form would be either a Stewart delivery truck or boxes and a gel coat body on a bare frame!

Cool....I've got one Roadster submission so far... Just 11 more to go!
Don't forget to include the info I requested, as well.

FYI, in the past, calendars have cost $25 shipped to the US (Europe adds a couple of bucks). I'll keep them at that price. This covers the cost of printing and postage. (As I said, I do this for reasons other than profit, which is good, since there is none! LOL)

Ideally, they are ordered by the end of November, shipped first week in Dec so they arrive by Christmas.

I have a great picture from an outing at mid-ohio.. Car at reasonable speed entering turn 1. Was taken by a professional photog. I bought the file of the pic so I assume I can use it beyond my personal use. As soon as I can figure out how to attach it will be on the way.. I also have a pic from LCS a few years back
Put me down for 2 calendars..

Its looking like the Cobra calendar is now full. We got some AWESOME shots!

What I've done with the GTM guys every year has worked well....

I'll set up a thread for communications. I'll open the thread on Monday
People wanting a calendar (or several calendars) send me either a PM through this forum (or the other forum), or an email to taz-rules@shaw.ca.

The PM or Email contains:
1) the number of calendars you would like
2) This year, which models you would like (GTM, 65 Coupe, Cobra, 818, or 33) Feel free to order some of each! (Though the 33 has very limited interest for some reason, and may or may not happen. I'll keep you posted)
3) your mailing address so I can send the calendar
4) an email address that I can send a Paypal invoice to

Once I get this, I send a Paypal invoice for the appropriate number of calendars to the email you supplied.
Once that is paid, I ship the calendars. If you ordered multiple calendars, I ship them all together.
I appreciate follow up either via pm, email or on the thread to let me know you got your calendars ok. Though its not necessary, it helps me make sure everybody is happy.

(Optional - but happened last year) Somebody spots the inevitable typo in the calendar, the printing company re-does the entire run, and we re-ship new calendars to everybody. LOL

I try to have orders paid by the end of November, or beginning of December, so I have an idea of how many to run at the printer. I send out the first shipment in the first week of December so they arrive by Christmas, though I can keep shipping more orders after that.
